Founded in 2013, FROMA, Inc. is a Montana company that designs and makes critical-duty equipment for airborne, military free-fall, and helicopter operations.
We specialize in custom design and fabrication of critical-duty equipment.
What we do
Our mission is to make the best critical-duty gear for the modern warfighter. We improve our designs all the time based on operator feedback, and we apply modern engineering to reach the simplest solution that works. Our pack harnesses, parachute attaching straps, helo lanyards, and lowering lines are used by special operations units globally.
Products
- SOF Harness System (HA30-OD): a patented, adjustable, diagonal-strap pack harness for airborne operations, sold with PASS Straps. Standard USSOCOM issue.
- SOF Harness, component (HA20-OD): the harness alone, for users who already have PASS Straps.
- PASS Straps (PA25-OD): the patented Parachute Attaching Strap System. It attaches jump packs to a parachute harness with a dual-point quick release.
- HELA Lanyard: Our patented, two-layer, abrasion- and cut-resistant helo lanyard with a red wear indicator (U.S. Patent 12,702,878). Standard issue for several JSOC units.
- HELA Adjust (LA30-OD): an aircraft lanyard you can adjust one-handed.
- HPT Lowering Line (LL15): an 8 ft hook-and-pile-tape lowering line for military free-fall. An 18 ft length is also available.
- Custom Work: custom harnesses, attaching straps, and lanyards.
